Throughout my experiences, I’ve learned to not speak poorly of others — I stand by the saying ‘Faber est suae quisque fortunae’ (“Each person is the architect of his/her fortune”). While dating, a lot of people you will end up meeting are looking for X, Y & Z when they themselves, have very little or nothing to offer. A lot of people are trying to “Find” themselves and expect others to love them as who they are. How can you expect anyone to love you when you in fact aren’t sure of who you are? It seems like a chicken and an egg problem.

The bottom line is that individuals go around yelling all Men/Women are trash because of one or two bad experiences. I find it hypocritical that people feel entitled to a long list of demands when their own lives are in shambles and are having a hard time navigating life. The people who usually do this have little emotional maturity, and are most likely hurt.

One more thing — Drinking, Partying, Concerts, Frequently eating outside / Trying new places, or Traveling aren’t hobbies. They are luxuries/privileges. Millions of people like these things…
